Blaq Dragon is owned and operated by the Executive Chef Austin, a Bowie State University graduate. He graduated with his B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. The idea of Blaq Dragon LLC originated from a business plan that Chef Austin created during his college career after noticing an egregious trend.

Chef Austin noticed that his neighborhood of Capitol Heights, Maryland, a largely African-American community, was surrounded by businesses like liquor stores, food carry-outs and convenience stores. Most of those businesses are owned by people that do not necessarily have that community’s best interest in mind. Blaq Dragon was created to be an OPTION for those wanting to support someone that grew up in the neighborhoods where they serve their food.
